I think it's possibly coming on the 29th or in mid-May, but I could easily see it being released in late Q3/Q4, too. Some of the largest fan accounts on twitter are seriously, not half-jokingly, acting like the 29th is a sure thing or claiming her tweet is the equivalent of an "official announcement," and I'm like "wut." I forgot how crazy and serious some stans can get lol with the conspiracy theories, too, and fake leaks. IMO it is telling that she isn't promising sh*t like she used to do back in the day and hasn't done any heavy teasing—new social media layout, tweet, and BloodPop IG is lowkey (and not atypical of other musicians) and nothing like she used to do. If she's dropping new music within the next few months, I think it will be a surprise drop or a very low key roll out. IMO some will defn. meltdown if she doesn't release on the 29th (mostly on twitter, but some on GGD), but stans will only have complete meltdown if it is jazz (although I'd be one of the few who were happy as I also love her jazz :)). Never got why so many LM were all Flopanne (then again, I also love Joanne)—especially as some music critics at the time starting running or including their tweets. I get not liking some of her music, but the negative reaction was so overkill and melodramatic. Joanne has a generally favorable score on MetaCritic, and it still sold well for any other female artist even if it was a low for Gaga compared to the BTW era.
