You can still get guns if you need them, just not unnecessarily powerful ones. i've seen this argument used in the United States to justify the 2nd amendment. in my opinion it might have held water in the early 1900s and before, but if people are going to fight the government with guns, there are things called planes and drones that drop bombs from the sky so i don't see guns really being of much practical use vs government. It's nonsense. These people say "We NeEd gUnS iN CaSe We hAvE tO FiGhT tHe GoVerNmEnt!!1" but don't realize they would be up against the biggest and most powerful military in the world lol. Sure, they can count on some military people working with them, but none of them will be able to control the resources of the military lmao. They also somehow think that by sustaining a couple of farms they can outdo big companies like the ones in the east and west coast, which is honestly nuts lol Former First Lady of the United States.
