If you go by that flawed logic, Joanne was a horrific commercial catastrophe, worse than ARTPOP and ASIB was barely better performing than ARTPOP. 2 million pure in the USA is a SH*TTON and literally the only two people that are ever gonna come close to numbers like this are Adele and Taylor herself.

You can‘t judge an albums‘s success just off a personal subjective opinion without looking at objective stats, the climate of music sales and the general music industry context.

The problem comes when the pure sales in the US of your last album are higher than the worldwide sales of your current album and that you current album will never catch up.
