As the number is increasing and the market is becoming more globalized, the entire "music industry" is diversifying. The music industry isn't just composed of some US artists. Of course US artists are much more relevant in Canada which is close, has English as its first language, etc. But these are objective facts Just because Youtube is big in India doesn't mean that the music industry is really all that big or relevant. If that would be the case non-Indian artists would try to get there but no one does. The real point was that India alone is not important enough to say that one artist is global or less global. The fact of the matter is that Ariana is more global than Taylor and Ariana will only get more hits overseas while Taylor will struggle hard after the promotional disaster that reputation was.
