I think i heard like 2-3 Taylor songs on swedish radio ever :emma: Ariana has way more hits here  (break free, one last time, problem, no tears, 7 rings etc).

None of them is on the level of gaga/Katy/rihanna though were pretty much every single goes top 20 and becomes a hit (- the joanne era :selena:)

yeah but Taylor was a country singer, her music is already more successful than it should be due to the genre

YouTube stats beg to disagree :ally: look em up sweaty. Only India could stand up to the nazi troll on YouTube who shall not be named.

Much of India didn't have internet access and still doesn't. As the number is increasing and the market is becoming more globalized, the entire "music industry" is diversifying. The music industry isn't just composed of some US artists. Of course US artists are much more relevant in Canada which is close, has English as its first language, etc.

But these are objective facts :selena: Just because Youtube is big in India doesn't mean that the music industry is really all that big or relevant. If that would be the case non-Indian artists would try to get there but no one does. The real point was that India alone is not important enough to say that one artist is global or less global. The fact of the matter is that Ariana is more global than Taylor and Ariana will only get more hits overseas while Taylor will struggle hard after the promotional disaster that reputation was.
