Applause stayed in the top 10 for 14 weeks, mostly since radio seemed to genuinely enjoy spinning that song, which seems to be the case now with the good sis Shallow. Also, y'all. She gave a fluid rockstar performance, with a popstar Gaga spin to it. I understand that some felt awkward her body language but that's what I loved the most, it felt just as bizarre and out of place as Dance in The Dark at the Brits. The lighting was delicious, and so was her look. The camera work was excellent too, something that her tv performances has always struggled with.
