Trump: White nationalism not a threat

When asked if white nationalism was a rising threat in the wake of the attacks on mosques in New Zealand that left 49 people dead, President Trump on Friday said: “I don’t really. I think it’s a small group of people that have very, very serious problems.” Trump called the incident “a terrible thing” and said he had not seen a manifesto, purportedly from one of the attackers, that named him as an inspiration for white identity ideology.

Trump made the remarks during an Oval Office ceremony in which he vetoed legislation aimed at halting his border emergency and complained about an “invasion” of illegal immigrants over the southern U.S. border.

I cannot begin to express how much I detest this monster.

This man is everything wrong with the US.

I will NEVER forgive nearly half of the voters making this man president.

Like some in comments said, he reads about everything with his name on it, so surely he has read the manifesto, but it’s easier to lie.

Also it’s true, this feels like “good people on both sides” intl edition.

He’s literally the face of it, he doesn’t want to alienate his fan base. Disgusting trash.

Also he doesn’t want more surveillance on these groups!

Of course he would say that. He's a Nazi sympathizer. He calls them "fine people". He thinks America belongs to rich white people.

Can't believe we went from Obama to this :saladga:
