You get to choose. I've pointed out over and over that she's not necessarily telling the critics to revise their opinion of her. What makes you think she is? She hasn't been sending these messages to them, she's been posting them to her fans. Oh so now it's our jobs to spread the word? That's worked real well in the past. There are plenty of critics that actually did study art/music/film etc + Gaga didn't study psychology, human sciences, or religion, so she shouldn't be talking about those topics if she were to follow her own advice. Gaga should just stick to art, music, and dance, because she is a popstar/musician, not a critic, a politician, and/or a psychiatrist. If she can't handle the criticism she should just stop, because you know critics will a--lyze your work, as they should. Gaga, should you read this, I still love you, but I'm actually very, very worried about your health, more about your mental health than your physical health at this point. Make sure you take care of yourself, even if that means aborting this era right now so you can get back in a good place. Is this a joke? Because you disagree with her post that means her mental heath is worrisome? I really hope you're being sarcastic cuz if not this is absolutely hilarious...I don't know her, yeah she's seemed sad lately and I'm not claiming to know Gaga is mentally stable, but to me claiming she's not bc of a post you disagree with is just insane. And I didn't claim to know she's dealing with criticism well. How about agreeing that making up rumors out of nothing isn't a good way to get to the truth? Rumors and Theories are two different things, Kunst. Two. If it were a rumor, I would have sold a Microsoft Word written article to Angela Cheng telling her that Gaga is not the victim and she is the person to blame for this situation. It would have flew around the web and people would have believed it or not, although it has no true source until proven false/true. Readers would have speculated the article's authenticity. Rumor. If it were a theory (like I originally made mines out to be), I would composed two sides of the story to propose an explanation that may or may not be true. I would not have openly treated my theory as the pure and honest truth. ...Like I did in the past posts. You're obviously not getting to the truth you're so desperately trying to find with these replies. It could be interpreted as a reaction to the criticism, or it could be interpreted as a call for discussion. But it's just a comment. This is the same woman who slept on camera and called it art, who swallows rosaries and wears meat and put out a song literally called "****" in another language. Now she makes some stupid comment on her site that, regardless of the fact that it may be interpreted as whiny, is really just a call for everyone to have some respect for everyone else's art and everyone acts like she is literally saying: "My work is too good to be criticized, bow for me", and bringing up problems with her management and a video that is ALMOST just as late (2 months) as the one for Telephone, which was one of the biggest videos of her career, and literally acting like this is the end of Gaga as we know it...even going so far as to "worry for her mental health". I was ready for the critics, I was ready for poor sales performance, I was ready for all the "gaga is over" **** in the media, but I thougt it was all going to happen because ARTPOP would be too artistical and conceptual, that the general public wasnt ready for this new sound... But reality is that Gaga tried to make a radio-friendly album adding some poorly developed and 100% unappealing and stupid "artistic concepts" that not even herself understands. But I still believe in her talent, and now that the "next queen of pop" stuff is over and nobody expects her to slay, I hope her creativity and artistry come back. Because I havent give up on her, she is just so hard to follow lately. Sure you can give an opinion on if the song sounds good or ****ty, since you've got ears and senses afterall, but looking at the true meaning of critiquing, which in my opinion requires an in-depth knowledge, how can you critique something you know nothing about or can't do? I legitimately am not someone who will just defend everything Gaga does, and there have been plenty of things throughout her career which I have really disliked...but I honestly like ARTPOP and I hardly think it's "poorly developed and 100% unappealing and stupid "artistic concepts" that not even herself understands", that is your opinion, not just the truth. How do you know that the concepts are poorly developed? Yeah, the way Gaga talks about them is convoluted as hell, but she also said Alejandro is about "her love of her gay friends" which is hilarious and clearly not true, and that Telephone is about feeling overwhelmed by her job, which is also a joke...but that doesn't make me say she "clearly doesn't understand" her own work or that they are of lesser quality because of it. If you dislike the record, fine. If you dislike the things she says about the record or her critics, fine. But stop acting like it's a fact that the album is bad and that she is just "wrong".
