The huge infrastructure problem in Lagos is incredibly apparent. I haven't heard of a place with more regular building collapse issues than Lagos. My hypothesis is a lack of diligent enforcement of design and implementation of said design when building; many structural issues appear to be a result of cutting financial corners to save time and money due to the enormous population pressure in the city.
