But which album era do you think produced the best music videos? Her first four generally have a lot of narrative videos, while Joanne has more simple videos and A Star Is Born is compiled of film footage. I think The Fame was a great, promising start which served gems such as LoveGame, with the standout video obviously being Paparazzi. The Fame Monster was an absolute MOMENT for choreography, with masterpieces such as Alejandro and Bad Romance. My two favourites however, would be ARTPOP and Born This Way, simply because ARTPOP had the G.U.Y Film and Applause, and Born This Way had so many amazing videos, Marry The Night and You and I being my favourites. If I had to choose one it would be Born This Way but it is very close. A Star Is Born is hardly valid in my opinion as the videos are somewhat meaningless without the context of the film, but they are nice ways to relive the amazing parts of the film. Joanne was easily the worst imo, John Wayne was its peak, and Joanne WDYTYG is also pretty nice. MR is a performance without the live factor and PI is an exciting dance video but not much more. Every video feels like it has a purpose and tells a story. Plus it's the era we got the ingenious biographical masterpiece Marry The Night.
