So Nicki's entire career fit into those 3 years? And she retired in 2014?

Nope but she got those number 1s in span of 3 years if she were to get a 5th one now she'd achieve those in 8 years. If we were go by your mentality Cardi has been active since 2015 and thus achieve this not in 1,5 year as stated by the other user but in 4 years. Yes Cardi achieved it faster but let's get those numbers right honeys....

In the stan world, your pop career is generally counted from the release of a debut single/album on a major record label.

Gaga released Red and Blue in 2006. Is that LG1? Do we count her career as 13 years long? No.

Katy Perry released Katy Hudson in 2001. Is that KP1? Do we count her career as 20 years long? No.

We count Cardi's debut as Bodak Yellow in 2017. Nicki's mainstream debut is arguably BedRock in 2009. There's no point counting anything before that because it had virtually no chance at cracking the Bubbling Under chart.

This still doesn't change the numbers from first to last #1 though :toofunny:

okay :ladyhaha:

Fact: Nicki Minaj only 4 #1's in 9 years. Cardi matched that in only 1 :deadbanana:

The time span is almost the same... :laughga:

Nicki did in 3 years and Cardi in 2
