What people can do for money :fail:

I don't think he did it for money. He did it for the fame... The fame monster

At the end of the day he is a black man. No surprise he would get prosecuted this extremely. A few months in jail would teach him his lesson. If his story had turned out to be true then the white guys wouldn’t have been judged this harshly is the sad thing.

16... FELONIES.... :udidnt:  and to echo sentiments of other users, yes, the justice system is intrinsically flawed and broken. *IF* he actually committed these crimes, this still seems like a MAJOR overpunishment imo. If I was facing charges this severe and got convicted,  I think I would just give up on life altogether. Another day in the land of the "free" where instead of rehabilitation and helpfulness, you're thrown away in a cell until your mind and body rots away. No chance for redemption or a second take on life. I'm kind of upset rn

He's not going to jail lol.

Why did he have to fake it? Why not just protest or something? How did he think it wouldn't be found out?

Do your own research.

I agree with this, a year in jail time at the most. Seems over excessive... But why did he even do it?

Yeah... Each time we hear about celebs risking to spend decades in jail and at the end it nearly never happens.

If he's going it's gonna be like 4 months max I think. They could be in jail forever with the potential condemnation scheduled by the justice system but at the end for these rich stars it's often just a big fee to pay, the impossibility to mess up again for many years or you're send to jail right away etc etc...

Everywhere I'm reading, legal experts say that the lawyers will most likely strike a plea deal. He'll be stuck with years of probation and hundreds of hours of community service most likely.

Looks like his career is 100% dead. What he did was just embarrassing and disgusting if what they are charging him with is true.

What he did was deplorable, but he doesn't deserve to have his career ended over this.

It's not easy making it as an actor, and then you add on top of that being gay and black, and the opportunities made available to you are even fewer.

I mean he did **** up - he’d have to do a lot of apologizing and ass kissing. But I highly doubt his career will be anywhere near the potential before this.

Yes he does. He needs to be made an example of not faking hate crime attacks to further your career. It's despicable.

I don't want to hear about him after (hopefully) his sentencing.
