Hell no! I know art is subjective and every song connects to the listener in their own unique way, but for me Dope is her most touching and haunting ballad. I have actually cried my eyes out multiple times listening to the song and watching performances of it on YouTube. It’s her most relatable ballad for me. Angel Down is my second favorite and Til It Happens to You is my third; both of them are haunting and grim like Dope is. Brown Eyes was a song I didn’t care for at first but now that I’m older and have lost crushes that have Brown Eyes it affects me much more. I like Million Reasons as well.

Generally speaking, the less a song is about love or could be interpreted as a love song, the more I am to value and appreciate it. THERE ARE SO MANY SONGS that are about love and relationships (positive and negative). It’s annoying. So a song that ISN’T about love stands out so much more in my mind and is more transgressive.

I think Speechless takes that title, Dope maybe too

The emotion in those songs are intense

I love Speechless too. One of her best.

The billboard charts have spoken and the answer is yes, it is her best ballad. :coffee:

The Edge of Glory is 2nd best.

Argue about it all you want to from a personal perspective. :spin:
