Guest
#4. Love Overall Score: 8.51 Highest Score: 11 - @Lonely Lolita @Rumours1977 @Gam @therokinrolla @Blue Madonna @Helxig @HosedDownGypsy @SFDMQ @halcyonpop Lowest Score: 4 - @PerfectGUY @Blue Madonna's comments: The perfect lead single, the perfect opening track. This song was the song that got me really hooked on Lana, and now she is my second favourite artist of all time. A beautiful, mellow, dreamy song which set the tone for the era, in both the context of lead single and first song, but also the music and its video. Lana has perfected the concept of positive nostalgia, and I just adore how she manages to sing to the listener but also about herself. It’s a very intimate listening experience, I always feel like she’s right there serenading me, and if I’m stressed out about ANYTHING, I put this album on, and this song instantly soothes me. The way she says ‘don’t worry baby’ makes me really believe it. Comments Part I: Spoiler @Trepadation: i love Lana’s callback to born to die. @Punktious: Perfect lead for this album, should be one of her greatest songs @Lonely Lolita: So dreamy, magical, and hopeful. I love it. It makes me nostalgic for something I never had @Rumours1977: The album starts out with one of the strongest songs by Lana I have ever heard. It does give me some Stevie Nicks vibes, which is always a good thing. This should have been a bigger hit than it was. @ARTPOP2: It's just so freakin perfect, peaceful, heavenly, it deserved better and the video I consider it as a signature Lana song (I won't give a 10 cuz I don't believe in that lol) @Amphetamine: one of the most beautiful sounding songs ever imo @AJK273: This song did something to the general public and for that I am thankful. It got people back onto Lana again and I love the fact that she was able to showcase a happier side to her which the core fans knew she had but the general public didn't. It was the perfect first single and I am extremely thankful for it. The song itself is great, my problem is the fact it is the first song on the damn album. 13 Beaches should have opened the album and that is just an agreeable fact like come for me but Love isn't an Opener of a song. It just isn't. I probably would have seen it towards like the 3rd half to give the album a happy pick me up. This song is lovely but it is not one I often go looking for either and I think it's because of it's placement on the tracklist annoying me so much I don't want to listen to it actively. If it comes on I will enjoy it. @hausofcy: I was obsessed when it came out but when the album dropped I had overplayed it so i usually skip this one @Oriane: A good opener for the album. The instrumental is beautiful, but the vocals feel a bit uninspired. Still a good choice for the lead single.

Guest
Comments Part II: Spoiler @corvus albus: This is such a good track but a bit too melodramatic (musically speaking) for my taste @Bayonetta: Aged like milk. @hellothing: A beautiful opener for an album preaching love to its core. It never fails to make me feel happy when I hear that I AM young and full of love. A song of strength for positive people. A drawback is that it is hard to get into if one is not in the right mindset. You have to be open in that particular headspace to be receptive of the beautiful message of the song. @halcyonpop: I never thought any Lana song could top Video Games or Old Money, but she really did it for me on this song. I love how she mixes both the fears and hopes of being a modern young adult. And that music video? *lady crying and saying "Academy Award!" gif* @The Bling: LOOK AT YOU KIDS WITH YOUR VINTAGE MUSIC ICONIC @brucee: perfect way to start the record, reminds me of Ride @sethrb101: Iconic. The song that technically got me into Lana as I felt compelled to delve back into her older work
