Guest
#10. Tomorrow Never Came Overall Score: 7.45 Highest Score: 11 - @Widows Kiss @swakby @Andreu @hausofcy Lowest Score: 1 - @Lonely Lolita @Blue Madonna's comments: Oh my god I love this song so much. So many Lana stans don’t really like it, and I just don’t get it???? The lyrics are heartbreaking every time, and coming from someone who’s listened to this album two times as much as their second most-listened to album, that means a lot. It gets me in the feels, like damn. The minimalistic production is perfect, it lets their flawless vocal chemistry and lyrics shine through. I feel they really did pull off the whole ‘modern Lennon and Yoko’ thing that it seems they were quite likely going for. His voice is heaven, like a more refined version of everything we love about Bradley’s. It’s deep and earthy, almost like sonic hot chocolate if that makes any sense. That first ‘hey’ in his verse is just… eargasmic. Like all the collabs on this album, their voices work together perfectly and when they join in the bridge and final chorus it gives me a whole ****ton of feelings… I want to cry, dance, scream, lie in shock, kiss someone… all at the same time. Ugh. Perfect. Comments Part I: Spoiler @Trepadation: the best song of the album?! 🙈 great lyrics great chemistry @Punktious: The guitar throughout the song is so relaxing and the lyrics are amazing @Lonely Lolita: That Lennon dude is so tragic @Rumours1977: Sonically, this really appeals to me (late 60s early 70s vibes for sure). It’s a very mellow track, and their voices sound very good together. It’s a cute track that I’d likely revisit. @ARTPOP2: Another great feature, 12 and 13 are my favorites on that album, songs I regularly go back to, it's my mom's fave and we always bond listening to it @AJK273: This song is beautiful and I don't understand how some people dislike it. Yes the bridge before the final chorus is a bit cheesy with the name drop but it doesn't ruin the rest of the song for me. The song is legit stunning. And again, another point where Rick shines on this album and another case of this album not knowing what it wants to be and all because the songs are not positioned properly. @hausofcy: this is so underrated but it’s my favourite song from the whole album next to cherry. Their voices blend so well together and i can actually see the park bench in the city in my head

Guest
Comments Part II: Spoiler @Oriane: The best duet on the album. It feels less forced and more natural. Like many other songs on this album, it doesn’t stick with me but it’s beautiful anyway. @FfFfFfFF: I love the folk influence, the guitar, the simplicity, the intimate tone. It's also very catchy. @corvus albus: This song is just beautiful and haunting. More of this, please @hellothing: I imagined this song happening to a soldier and her girl. The soldier dies and the girl waits at the park bench even though she know he will never come. That’s what I imagined when listening to this song. It fit so perfectly to the political turmoil and the seventies war vibe she has going on in this album. Tragedy outshines the hope. Classic Lana is classic. @halcyonpop: This is one of two songs that grew on me like CRAZY. This was my least favorite, but it hit me one day on a rainy afternoon. An amazing collab! @FentyGa: This song is so peaceful and beautiful. It should be a classic, really.
