JustAnother 5,113
I remember someone telling me this but I don’t remember exacly? Someone told me Gaga’s debut was supposed to come out in 2006/2007 but then she got dropped from her label? Does anyone have real information about this, I know she got dropped but was there a full on album prepared and ready to be released.

derpmonster 22,412
She did reuse some songs. BDR and Paparazzi are older than her Interscope deal Edit: I misremembered. Paparazzi came after Interscope. She had thought of the concept The Fame and that's why they wanted her to make a song about the Paparazzi. There are other songs that she worked on alone or with Fusari (like Summerboy) that were before TF. Animal Claws 18,665
Since 2006 Gaga was already with The Fame concept, having the song Beautiful Dirty Rich the first with the idea The debut album would be released in 2007, when she closed the deal with Def Jam Records, but some conflicts rolled that caused that this agreement was canceled In 2008, she was hired by Interscope Records to release her albums to this day So... No, no project was scrapped

Guest
mess I wish she just released it then, accelerated her entire career by a year or so and maybe we'd have LG6 by now
TimisaMonster 31,073
Reel Cool/Wunderland would have been the vibe ala Disco Heaven perhaps... Basically so many fame era demos leaked so we see she had a more funk/disco sound in mind but FAME is more glam rock pop Stream my new single, 💜"Heartbeat"💜, on Spotify!
