I can't remember the last time I heard someone say something homophobic in person I barely hear homophobic stuff in person but that's mostly because I mostly socialize in alternative environments. Last time I heard something truly homophobic in person was maybe last summer. In fact the most homophobic comments I get are from Grindr. It doesn't help that there's a thriving criminal scene where I live so people are just generally horrible.
