I'm from Portugal and, sure, it's friendly, but being that high seems a reach... I'd say it's not something Portuguese people care very much about. Over the last two years LGBT has had major representation in media, the nightlife is owned by the gays, but I would never considered it as LGBT friendly as Canada.
