If these two were regular people, I wonder if the rudeness would be more pronounced. Maybe the kid needed to learn a lesson, but seeing as he's gone on the defensive from being so harshly dragged by his inspiration, he most likely never will. You don't get people to learn by being assholes to them. This wasn't some educational moment about ethics and manners (which Jeffree has failed equally to show). This is a much more socially influential person unnecessarily dragging an ordinary fan. There are more negative repercussions to that than to the kid posting on his every tweet. Jeffree could have taken the high road and blocked him if he's so pressed. And he's gone on some 5 minute Instagram story rant to defend himself? Jeez. This man would avoid so much drama in his very public life if he just learned some diplomacy. I don't care whether or not you personally disagreed with the kid's posts. I don't agree with them either, but to excuse Jeffree's immaturity because "that's just Jeffree being Jeffree" doesn't strike the right notes with me, and I question what kindness means to you. I also think it’s ridiculous that the “fan” put himself in a situation & then turned it around like he was the victim & then exploited the situation to gain from it. Jeffree apologized, we saw that the situation was taken out of context in Shane’s video & the “racist texts” were never proven real.
