I always felt that when she was saying "it's a good movie" it kinda sounded fake to be honest. I'm not hating on her. I'm just saying everytime they asked her about the remake, her response didn't sound sincere to me. I think she doesn't like it on the inside, or maybe she doesn't like the brand ASIB overall because her version was underwhelming and she received some backlash for it.

they mean the part where they showed the clip, all best picture nominees are introduced

serena williams isn't that irrelevant  but I did think it was such a weird match to get her to present ASIB though, she has literally nothing to do with the cast members, let alone the film

It's probably just because she didn't want to seem linked to the movie the same way Amy Adams didn't let Disney have the rights to her likeness for Enchanted so they couldn't use her in merchandising. They're actors doing a job and they aren't beholden to something once their part of the process is finished. So I doubt it was a snub and more that Streisand tends to operate this way.

She's entitled to her opinion but I did find it odd that she was present yet didn't present either the clip or Best Original Song. Who knows why. LG won anyway so it doesn't matter.
