REALITY 76,603
I absolutely loved this interview. I couldn't agree more with saying that she doesn't sound rehearsed, or overly serious, etc. I mean, there's nothing wrong with being rehearsed, or serious, or whatever, but I'll be honest...her interviews (while good) haven't always been the most engaging or entertaining. She's repetitive and [sometimes] she can be socially awkward. With the ASIB campaign, it was obvious that she was trying to create a narrative (one that arguably didn't go over very well), and like I've stated, that's not necessarily a bad thing, but it just doesn't make the most engaging of interviews. She talked like a real person here. She was funny, she told stories she hasn't told before, she directly addressed a lot of the things Kimmel asked, etc. Not to mention, she looked absolutely stunning! I would really love to see more interviews like this. 𝔊𝔬𝔬𝔡𝔟𝔶𝔢, ℑ'𝔩𝔩 𝔰𝔢𝔢 𝔶𝔬𝔲 𝔦𝔫 𝔪𝔶 𝔡𝔯𝔢𝔞𝔪𝔰

Hmmm I didn’t see any of that at all. But to each their own. I’m blonde, I’m skinny, I’m rich and I’m a little bit of a bitch

I don’t feel like she’s ever fake, but a lot of the times she comes off as “produced”, like she rehearsed everything she’s gonna say so people will see her the way she wants them to. Schwerk 7,246
People here acting like she was faking it all all these years....I can't. Despite everything she's been through that sometimes reflects in her speaking because she sometimes is tired, insecure, nervous, depressed, on medication/drugs etc....but from the start she was always genuine, eloquent and funny. If you watched them all from the beginning of her career, you grow with her, this is a natural evolution. But please dont act like she was never relaxed, eloquent, funny and charming before, she always was. According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

JazzGa 14,621
Yas, and she looks so unbelievable beautiful too. It's hard to believe that when she made the interview rounds in '08-'11, there were people who thought she was a man, or ugly, and that's why she covered up with costumes. But not only is Gaga just as beautiful as any other celebrity, in this interview, she looks more beautiful and glamorous than I thought it was possible for a person to be My old cat is a tough man, but i cant deny the way he bites my hand and he stabs me, he grabs me by my heart <

The Joanne era all of the songs were very personal and ASIB she was aglow in Bradley believing in her. She's an artist, she is ever changing
Fresco 1,688
In the Access Live interview about the dress she is wearing" I designed it myself and it's made of origami". Me: wait, what She looks happy in this Fallon interview, like she just won something, love it. I feel like my favorite team just won the Superbowl. In a purely technical sense of grammar, she said "fooled ya" in regards to having an affair with Tony Bennett, not BC. But I'm not going to be shipping anymore ... AJRocketMan 2,684
I definitely disagree. While her attitude is different, she doesn’t appear to have that “burning passion” and the intellectuality that I associate with truly great Gaga interviews here. I just recently watched her interview on The Conversation with Amanda de Cadinet last night and it was fantastic. And calling social media “the toilet of the internet” is bullshit. She was the one who used social media to her advantage to build a closer relationship to her fans and to announce and promote new projects. She was literally the one who changed the entire dynamic between the celebrity and the fanbase. And she was constantly posting pictures over the years on twitter, Instagram, Little Monsters, personal videos on YouTube. Does this woman even realize the impact that she made on 21st century pop culture via the use of social media? This is so irritating.

Joanne is probably my favorite Gaga album, but she's been very rehearsed for the past few years and not letting her own personality shine through. It's not uncommon, but she didn't feel natural. I truly think she released Joanne so people saw ASIB as a natural transition and she wasn't a dance-popstar just going into a movie for the hell of it. All of this was planned, and now she's able to let go because there's no motive behind her music other than the music. Only speculation though. She has every right to call it the toilet of the internet when it's the truth. While she did redefine the interactions between a singer/celebrity and their fans, it's become very toxic to the point where they almost see their "icon" as a circus animal only there for their entertainment. It's created a very bad environment for artistic freedom and human mistakes where people can speculate wildly until something sticks - much like this Bradley/Gaga relationship thing. This is so irritating. 10 years ago social media wasn’t like it was today (I joined Twitter the around the same time she did). In the past 5/6 it has become so incredibly toxic. She did what she needed to before social media became what it is now but it doesn’t mean she has to like it still, she’s been on it long enough to make an observation like that. Social media is a definite time waster, and you need to exercise restraint to keep yourself from falling into that trap. But it’s a great place for artistic freedom. All you have to do is post your art. There’s an audience out there for everything. You don’t need a major company to release new content anymore. Gaga said this herself in the SXSW 2014 Keynote interview and again in her 2016 Zach Sang interview.
