I mean all news and thoughts get posted here anyway. We like to keep it all in one place.

I know, but after Applause, I lost excitement about Gaga charting (except for when Million Reasons during the Super Bowl).

well, in that case and if what you say is true, radio is the most disgusting, bigoted, misogynistic media that I have seen. Do you think this is Ok?

But why? This is called business. They play songs which fit their target, so they have more listeners. And more listeners means more money from ads.

This is not about what I/you think. Big radio stations (and other big companies) spend so much money on researches to find out who is the most profitable target for them, that probably they know better than me or you, what kind of music they should play. And yes, I don’t think that a lot of radio listeners want to listen to shallow.

Well if a radio wants more young listeners, for example, those same young listeners would rather hear All The Stars from Kendrick and God's Plan from Drake or whatever.

Source : for exemple, the little study they did for the Grammys. It was posted a few weeks back on GGD. Young adults and older adults were surveyed about who should win song of the year at the Grammys. Young adults voted in majority for other songs than Shallow. Meanwhile older people voted for Shallow.

c'mon dude/girl, it's the #1 song, it's in the top 10 on spotify and top 20 on AM for a week now, it makes no sense to say ppl don't want to listen to it, i'm sorry, but i disagree with you.

just cuz they think it shouldn't win, doesn't mean they don't wanna listen to it, ppl don't listen to just 1 song, while they have to vote for just one song

edit: but this argument is going nowhere, none of us work for a radio station to know exactly the reason why she's not played as much as other artists. I suggest we end this here. and like someone else said, I have nothing against you, i'm sorry if i offended you in some way

Yes. It means that iTunes and Spotify/AM/YouTube users enjoy that songs. It does not mean that also radio listeners do - all of them are different targets. And I don’t blame radio that they do not want to play her after PI, which is one my favourite Gaga’s song,  but it was not radio friendly at all.
