It’s just that we can’t know how much it did without CMA, but 113k is absolutely not the figure taken into consideration for the Hot 100 calculation. Have I got it? On one hand, some people bought Shallow this tracking week which increases Shallow sales this week. On the other hand, some people who have bought Shallow previously decided to use the Complete My Album feature on iTunes to purchase the entire album, resulting in a loss of Shallow sales in this tracking week. CMA affects the Digital Songs chart but not the Hot 100, however. Hence, the number announced for the Digital Songs chart is lower than the one contributing to the Hot 100.
