People like to make fun of the “religion,” but it’s an honestly terrifying organization. I strongly urge anyone who hasn’t to watch the Leah Remini Scientology documentary on A&E; it’s a critically acclaimed series and not dramatized. What these people get away with, right here in the US, is shocking. It honestly seems so outlandish as to be a made up conspiracy theory, but the veracity of these accounts are indisputable at this point, given the extent of verifiable information received by Pulitzer-Prize winning investigative journalists for NYT and the like.
