Queen of resurrecting her career I have a feeling Gaga's career will closely resemble Cher's A very long career with multiple unexpected comebacks Also doing a mix of acting and music is also how Cher played the game That longevity allowed her to be the oldest female in history to have a #1 hit (age 52) and still get headlines and attention when she enters movies like Burlesque or more recently Mammamia 2 I think Gaga can pull a similar legendary career Madonna for example just lives off the name now (and successful tours) because of having left such a mark but her stuff never charts high anymore. she concentrated on music since acting got her no where and she's at an age where music never succeeds anymore (her last hit 4 minutes was 11 years ago) Acting can bring success and relevancy into older ages than music so it's smart Gaga is now getting into it too in her 30s (and she loves it anyway most importantly) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
