Davian 44,859
...really grateful for this era I'm sad because I missed the Oscars yesterday. I was planning on watching (just like the Golden Globes and Grammy's) but I fell asleep before the red carpet, and woke up when they announced Best Actress. It was supposed to be a quick nap I was really looking forward to it to witness on of the biggest nights of her career, and I feel so stupid. But I (kind of) forgave myself and it got me thinking how grateful I am for this era, which is nearing the end. This era has been so good for Gaga's career It's just mind-blowing to see her relevance in terms of awards, praise and radio play. Every day something new is happening. And let's not forget about the amazing music we got! For me personally, this era brought me closer to this site and the beautiful people on it. That's why I loved staying up all night and watching the shows. I never really did that because I didn't have people to share it with. So even though I still can't with the fact I missed the Oscars, I'm looking forward for the future to see what Gaga serves us. Anyways, I'll be there and I hoped to meet more of you guys in the progress. Idk why I'm so emotional atm but I need to stop Let's makes this a positive thread by saying what you loved about this era Thanks for reading this, Davian What you want Lady Gaga🥂 What you want with Christina🥂
ryhanna 3,507
I'm just so happy that so many people see Gaga as a legitimately talented person now. It's so hard to break free of the pop star mold, and Gaga's worked so hard to be taken seriously. It's undeniable now that she is.
FinnishGypsy 921
Don’t feel bad, I purposefully only tuned in for Gagley’s (and Adam & Queen’s) performances, and the BOS category. So, I watched maybe 10-15 mins total? I knew ASIB wouldn’t win anything else after how this award season played out, and I couldn’t stand to watch four hours of far inferior films winning. Plus, the stupid scripted banter that award shows always employ makes my eyes roll so far into the back of my head that I’m afraid my contacts will fall out (and I’m down to my last pair, so I can’t risk it). But I loved everything about ASIB era. Incredible film and OST, and the press tour was amazing given the looks Gaga was serving. Since the promo for ASIB started, I’ve seen her repeatedly referred to as the new “it” red carpet fashionista (which actually aligns with her impending co-hosting gig at the MET Gala). So, while I’m bummed the era is over, I’m mostly just so proud of Gaga, and incredibly happy for her. She deserves the world, and is finally being recognized at a level that’s commensurate with her extraordinary range of talent. Plus, I genuinely love ASIB and have already purchased the DVD, so this era will be the gift that continues giving for many decades to come.
Quartz 12,535
Can we all just appreciate the type of acclaim she has earned? The GP celebrates her and her talent. Her weirdness, a part of it, is now almost fully accepted. And she's not acknowledged just because of her antics and her celebrity status; but, she's actually appreciated because of her heart and talent. You just can't cheat these stuff! Inside, we are really made the same. 🕊

TeenIdle 126,607
I fell alseep too But apart from Gaga the Oscars are not my type of show. It's crazy how 9 years ago our definition of success was breaking VMA records and now she has an effing Oscar, 2 Golden Globes, 9 Grammys and countless achievements. We stan a LEGEND 𝖓𝖊𝖜 𝖗𝖊𝖑𝖎𝖌𝖎𝖔𝖓

I still can’t believe the amount of love and praise she gets from the GP. A lot of my friends went from rolling their eyes at Gaga, to singing Shallow with me They still think I talk too much about her but we are making progress What you want Lady Gaga🥂 What you want with Christina🥂

Watched a couple of times now and bought it at iTunes. It never gets old and will stand the test of time!
