danilov 288 Posted February 24, 2019 Share Posted February 24, 2019 I've been a fan of Lady Gaga for a decade now but it always amazed me that up until now, she always tops every moment she had for the past 10 years. Back then, I thought for a very long time the height of her career would be the Bad Romance era, then it changed to the Born This Way album release, then when she performed The Sound of Music medley, then to the Superbowl performance... and now it's the Oscars performance of Shallow. Thinking back then, I cannot imagine her topping the Superbowl performance because, well, according to LG herself (in Five Foot Two), nothing's bigger than that performance anymore. It's like honoring her career and legacy right there. But boy, we were all wrong. For me, the performance today is much bigger just because she basically dominated not just the music industry but the film industry. THIS IS AN ARTIST functioning in the 2 biggest artistic industry. So now, I'm starting to wonder what bigger performance will she perform in the future??? We know she will still do albums, perform probably in Oscars and Superbowl in the near/far future, and she said she might try Broadway and scoring for films. I just wonder what else could be bigger? I won't definitely be surprised if she can surpass all these. EDIT: Now that I'm still thinking about it, another career high would be her actually winning the Academy Award for Best Actress, and actually winning Album, Song or Record of the Year.
