Why Joanne is Gaga's Best Album

I wouldn't mind if LG6 sounded like ASIB soundtrack I think if that's the case then Gaga has only just or not even started it yet. We know for sure that she worked with Boyz Noise and Bloodpop and this just don't think she's in that mind frame now. She has massive success with the ASIB soundtrack and I'm convinced that she has scrapped the original concept for LG6. Which is really **** cause I'm not here for another 1 - 2 wait.

Yes, that is what separates it from her other ones. It’s not about Fame or Gaga, it’s about Stefani. It’s also a very authentic record too with real instruments, which I love. Like I get me wrong, I love pop and especially her pop bops, but a personal song with instrumentals always hits home with me. That’s why Joanne is in a league of its own her discography, but they all are in their own unique ways.

Hmm.

I mean, I definitely don't agree that her other albums somehow are about someone else than Stefani, that's pure fabrication, we know from her own interviews that every song on those albums represent a part of her and have biographical inspiration so that's not a good reason for me to argue that Joanne deserves a special accolade for being self-reflecting.

Secondly, imo here's nothing that revealing about at least half of Joanne. I actually would've preferred if it was a bit more soul-bearing because most of those lyrics are super superficial and uninteresting to me :rip: I much prefer the subtle and more artistically constructed poetry of her previous albums. Stripped down does not automatically mean more authentic, as most of the critics reviewing Joanne noted as well.

So yeah, I guess that's just taste. But I fail to see how songs like John Wayne or Come to Mama are more personally revealing than Dance in the Dark or The Queen. Because they're not. Even the heartfelt ballads  on the album can't compete lyrically with Brown Eyes, Speechless or Dope imo.

I respect everyone's opinion since we all have different tastes but as a big GAGA fan, Joanne is the only album I literally can't play the whole way through and believe me I have tried and tried! Will always appreciate that she went with what SHE wanted though 👍

I respect you're opinion too! It's nice when people can disagree, but still be respectful towards eachother!
