YouTube on Friday said it would prevent channels that promote anti-vax content from running advertising, saying explicitly that such videos fall under its policy prohibiting the monetization of videos with “dangerous and harmful” content. The move comes after advertisers on YouTube pulled their ads from these videos, following inquiries from BuzzFeed News. Seven different advertisers said they weren’t aware their ads were appearing on videos like “Mom Researches Vaccines, Discovers Vaccination Horrors and Goes Vaccine Free,” which advocates against vaccinating children, and reached out to YouTube to pull the programmatic placements. All these stuffs that was completely eradicated in The States are now slowly making a return because of these irresponsible parents! These diseases can mutate and become harder to treat. I am glad YouTube isn’t allowing these people to make money off their radical ideals. It’s easy to get caught up in conspiracy theories and out of the box ideas, but come on people!! Vaccines and medicinal research are so important for the future of our species. By calling against vaccination you are LITERALLY a Public Health risk. You are advocating for the propagation of communicable diseases whether you like it or not.
