literally this. She is killing the game right now. Not even Katy slayed this much with TD era.

Katy got 5 #1 songs with that album though.

No. California Girls, Teenage Dream, Firework, E.T., Last Friday Night all went #1 on the normal version of TD, then Part of Me went #1 on the re-release.

if they counted part of me (+ if one that got away and wide awake weren't blocked at #2 and #3), i don't think anybody would've been able to break her record for like so long:giveup:

Probably ever. I don’t think the record will be broken. The new streaming era just doesn’t allow it to be broken. Otherwise Divide could have done it. It’ll only get worse for album singles and better for standalones from now on.

No. Last Friday only went #1 after the Remix got released. Wich is on the re-release. Same goes for E.T.

The Remix counted toward Last Friday Night going #1, but the remix didn't go number one, the original song did.

You changed your comment. It doesn't matter if they release a remix to help a song go #1. If you go on the official Billboard page, Katy is credited for each song going #1. I don't know if you understand, but she had 5 #1's on the album.

The song went #1 in August 2011. I remember this.

The Complete Confection was released in 2012.

edit: here’s an excerpt from Wikipedia: The song finally reached the number-one position on the Billboard Hot 100 on August 17, 2011, and spent two straight weeks there. The song became Perry's sixth number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and her fifth consecutive number-one single.

you can also look at the same for ET; which went number one before LFN
