Of course she knew...she is often called the first pop icon of the digital era.  She knows how social media works.

I distinctly remember that in early interviews she said things about repeating things in order to brand herself and she's always had something like that for every era. This is just another thing to make sure people hear her name and know exactly who she is. It reminds me of the 'one sequin at a time' thing she would say in interviews all the time during TF era
