Just bc someone's music is like Bowie's doesn't mean they're the successor of Bowie, it means the opposite. And just to get it out there Bowie's tunes are basically pop music, it's only labeled rock now. I think Lorde is the most likely to take that spot, but we still have faith in our Gagz! Lorde is an incredible poet and nice singer, but she doesn’t have any solid musicianship (that night change though with her teaching herself how to play the piano). While Gaga isn’t as critically acclaimed as Lorde is, she’s a much more creative and dynamic artist than Lorde is and that’s what makes her the next Bowie in my eyes.
