She has no problem executing brilliantly melodramatic and uptempo jazz renditions of classics. She also did The Lady Is A Tramp, Cheek to Cheek and Anything Goes on her own. And if I'm not wrong, people said she received six standing ovations at the latest Jazz & Piano show, I think she can really impress with a solo jazz album. Maybe Michael Buble, Andrea Bocelli, Diana Krall, Adele...But she could totally do a jazz album on her own with no issue. As far as Jazz is concerned. I would like to see her amp up her Jazz by adding some Latin or Brazilian Jazz, Bossa Nova elements. I think that would broaden her Jazz horizons and her voice would sound great. Her work with tony is flawless, but to have just purely her voice for a WHOLE project like that? I know other monsters don't really care for that, but that would be heaven for me. She loves him and he was there for her when, lbr her career/public were at a low for her, and I think she might want to work with him again while he's still alive because she loves jazz and he's been there for her...especially as he would love to work with her again, too. An artist doesn't make what people ask for- they make expressions of things they are interested in. If you don't like her Jazz adventures, you don't have to listen. Her jazz album went platinum, so she does have fans that are truly interested in her work. Her jazz is actually stellar. She is very good at it.
