The Israeli government continued to enforce severe and discriminatory restrictions on Palestinians’ human rights; restrict the movement of people and goods into and out of the Gaza Strip; and facilitate the unlawful transfer of Israeli citizens to settlements in the occupied West Bank.

She is attacked from all sides because she’s black and Muslim woman (in hijab) in congress. Where was this outrage when same McCarthy said this:

I knew this thread would be created tho. She said nothing wrong, Benjamins (referring to Netanyahu and money from lobbyists???) and AIPAC, but sure, read more into it, because it’s her. AIPAC is not just money from Jewish Zionists, it’s also from Evangelical Christian Zionists who are supporting Israel because of end of times. And no one calls them antisemitic!

Also Clinton’s daughter and her hypocrisy:

there’s a  tweet for everything.

I love that you laughed at this OP, it shows how much you care when someone else is using, what you call, antisemitic rhetoric.

Only to shut down any criticism of Israel.

Also interesting is the fact the people being offended over her statements that were not meant to be anti-semitic are the first ones to cry “SJW” whenever legitimate racist remarks are made by the President of the United States.

Hypocrites.

Two wrongs don’t make one right, that’s why I laughed

The outright lies and you know damn well boy.

Funny how Pelosi and crew were silent during the massacre in Gaza last March. Only in Amerikkka are you not allowed to criticize Israel.

F*ck the Democratic Party and Nancy Pelosi. They clearly couldn’t care less about the plight of the Palestinian people; typical establishment US imperialist BS. So sick of this crap. Omar could have more eloquently made her point but once again the party is showing it’s establishment bias by simply demanding as apologize and nothing else. Totally misses the larger point.

That’s irrelevant to the topic and would just go off topic now.

the fact that you think human rights violations and the plight of Palestinians is "off-topic" shows how out of touch you are. This thread was made for you to criticize Ilhan, not to have any conversation about the issues themselves.

Sheldon Adelson (e.g. https://www.timesofisrael.com/with-new-donations-adelsons-close-to-100-million-for-republicans/) is an example of someone using his money to pay off Republican politicians to take on a more extreme pro-Israel view. Why can't we say the same about him and his ridiculous ideas, the hundreds of millions he has donated to the GOP (he's the single biggest individual donor, 3x larger than the second biggest in 2016), as we say about the Koch brothers? It's the same kind of discussion all over again just like with racial topics or islamophobia. If we can say that white people are more likely to rape a child, we can say that black people are more likely to murder someone in the US. If we can say that the Koch brothers pay off politicians to have policy changed in their favour, that the Saudi state pays mosques and Islamic organisations in Europe to take a more salafist/wahhabist approach to Islam, we can say that Sheldon Adelson pays off US politicians for policy changed in the favour of Israel. Even pro-Israel groups like J Street say that Sheldon Adelson pays the GOP to take on extremist pro-Israel views.

@Melech Imagine we used your definition of anti-semitism, which is simply too broad and covers too many instances of people who don't have anti-semitic intentions and don't say things which are untrue or can reasonably be considered anti-semitic. If that's the case, your focus on anti-semitism would be racist, homophobic, transphobic, sexist, ableist, etc. because you're not giving similar attention to other cases of discrimination. This would, by your very broad definition of discrimination, mean you're paying disproportionate attention to instances of discrimination against Jews, showing you care too little about other forms of discrimination. If you're using a broader version of discrimination for the cases against Jews than the other forms of discrimination and think that's justifiable, that would also be inherently racist, homophobic, etc. etc. because it would show you think discrimination in other forms is more easily justified. I mean, I don't agree with such a broad view of discrimination, but I'm showing you easily run into contradiction with yourself to showcase how problematic such a broad definition of discrimination is, even more so when you only apply it to one form of discrimination and not another.

(by the way, ridiculing what I'm saying, like in the past, will not convince anyone but yourself)
