Hard (to me no filler means that all tracks can stand on their own and be considered impressive offerings not just to fans but casual listeners, given that you like the genre of the music).

These can fit the bill though

The Fame Monster by Lady Gaga

Teenage Dream by Katy Perry

1989 by Taylor Swift

Reputation by Taylor Swift

Badlands by Halsey

Hopeless Fountain Kingdom by Halsey

Cry Baby by Melanie Martinez

Born To Die (standard) by Lana Del Rey

Blackout by Britney Spears

Lemonade by Beyonce

and recently Ariana's thank u, next (from 12 songs, only 2 we're unlistenable to me but you could deal with that and enjoy listening to the entire album without even being an Ari fan, just if you like Pop and Rnb).

Agreed! I love all of his music but that album is my favorite. Plus, I have a lot of amazing personal memories attached to that album, so it’s incredibly special to me.

It's my favorite too and overall, he was at his peak (as a musicians) during the UJ era imo. Have you ever been at his tours? He's one of the best entertainers these days :tony:

I have! I saw the Moonshine Jungle Tour and the 24k Magic Tour. His shows are some of the best I’ve ever seen, the 24k Magic Tour was so energetic I felt like I was about to pass out by time it ended :ladyhaha:.

That's literally me :diane:When the curtain fell at the beggining of the 24K Magic Tour, I thought I'd pass out or have a seizure in the front row :ladyhaha: It's weird, at first I didn’t even really want to go to the tour :emma: because I thought it wouldn't be as good as MJT.

Most albums tbh lol, unless a song is specifically placed and/or recorded to fill a track place/make the album longer it's not a filler.

People love to use that word for songs they don't like when the reality is...most albums don't have filler lol.

No. A filler is not a bad song. It’s a song that is not its own thing or part of the general concept. It’s a song that feels out of place. It’s generally used because if the filler is song B, song A and C didn’t have good phasing between each other.

For example, I’d argue that God Bless America (And All The Beautiful Women In It) is a filler song from Lana Del Rey’s last album. It’s just there to make the album more “Lana”, to help the transitions from ASAP Rocky collabs to Stevie Nicks and Sean Ono Lennon collabs.

I know what an actual filler is but as a music lover I don't usually agree with it. It's always used against songs people don't like. I can promise you if you find a pop forum with users talking about an album, you'll see people call different songs "fiLLeRs!", therefor most "fiLLeRs!" aren't "fiLLeRs!" they're just songs they don't like.

So... if I get u right perfect illusion John Wayne and dancin in circles are Joanne fillers? Cause I think these songs don't fit the Joanne concept but are the most Gaga songs on the album... but no one ever said that these are fillers cause they are the fan favourites (except PI)

so... I think it's a matter of taste to title a song as a filler.

OT: I remember Vanilla Ninja's 'Love is war' never had a filler for me

No. What? Joanne hardly has a concept much like any pop album. Those songs bring something new to the table and that makes them non-fillers. Fitting the concept is another thing that makes the songs that don't stand out non-fillers, for example Arctic Monkeys' Tranquility Base has no clear standout because all songs make one narrative.
