But not all “X” think the same. So I wouldn’t say I represent liberals... as I haven’t been chosen by anyone to do so. Politicians are fair game. They were elected to represent a population that thinks similarly to them. I’m not giving anyone a free pass? Why keep on repeating that? Why are you bringing up race? I am confused. Also are you implying I support 21 savage? I don’t think I’ve said anything about him. Ok, fair enough. It's my way of saying that you seem to be more likely to forgive liberal failings than conservative ones. The only post you made was agreeing with a statement that you're happy to call yourself supportive of women but then drag any woman who is white and conservative. That pretty much tells me that you're against Tomi regardless of what she was saying and support Cardi's view of her, hence posting a Cardi gif underneath. That tells me that you support whatever Cardi was saying, which in this case, was support for 21 Savage. I'm just questioning why so many liberals, particularly black liberals, are supporting him for blatantly breaking the law and lying to everyone for years, even going as far as changing his accent and turns of phrase. It seems like certain people want to defend black people at all costs, even if they're guilty. That kinda view isn't the view of someone who wants equality but rather, wants black people to get special treatment from authorities.

You are hellbent on injecting some double standard and “anti-white” bias it seems. Not today. I made a joke post, it wasn’t meant to be taken literally. I actually thought Cardi’s post was funny. It didn’t indicate any position about 21 Savage, seems like you are jumping to conclusions. If you want to know MY position on 21 Savage, you could ask instead of assuming. I’ll tell you: ICE says he came to the US at 12-13, his lawyer says 7. ICE says he overstayed his visa. He was a child, and by my knowledge it seems he’d qualify for DACA. “Individuals who meet the following criteria can apply for deferred action for childhood arrivals: are under 31 years of age as of June 15, 2012; came to the U.S. while under the age of 16; have continuously resided in the U.S. from June 15, 2007 to the present.” So I don’t think he will be deported, he can probably afford good immigration lawyers. As for his accent... people adapt to their environment, children do it all the time. He is also an entertainer, his image is that of a southern urban rapper. You don't need to put quotation marks around "anti white." It's a real thing that some people hate whites, you know. By putting quotes around it, you're putting it in the same box as conspiracy theories made by paranoid KKK members. Not saying you're anti white, but you don't need to phrase it like it's something imaginary. But ok, you were just making a joke. It's just not a very obvious one. Of course his lawyer says he was younger than 13. He's probably been paid to lie in his defence. 13's still a child, obviously, but old enough to realise what's going on and do something about it upon becoming an adult. Yeah, he can qualify for DACA and I'm sure he'll be able to return to the US and do it properly this time. He's set down roots, he's been making money in a job, he has children born in America, he has certain factors that make it understandable for him to come back. This probably won't be the last we see of him and as a rich celebrity, he has far greater opportunities to succeed in coming back. But that doesn't mean he shouldn't have been pulled up for the crime in the first place. Fair enough, you can adapt to your environment and change accent but by 13 (which I'm sure he totally was, not 7), your accent is already fairly well developed by that time. Iggy Azalea's only a year older than him and she's been living in America for 12 years, only one year less than him. And yet she sounds totally Australian when she talks, reserving her American accent for her rap persona (not to mention, she never hid the fact that she was Australian and even once said that she lives in America under a work visa, so if she's not rapping, she has to go back). Savage, despite living in America for the same amount of time, sounds totally American when he talks as well as when he raps. I saw an interview with him - he was saying "wit it," "thang" and "they" instead of "their." Us Brits don't talk like this, we find that kind of phraseology funny, if anything. It's not the least bit natural for us to say it. His accent, at a push, is understandable, but slang? Some thing just don't get transferred. I heard the same slang for years through rap music but never incorporated it into my day-to-day talk. Iggy doesn't talk that way either. By all accounts, Savage has completely lied to everyone through his teeth and I think that's even worse than his visa issue. If he lies about his birth origins and presents himself as an Atlanta native when he never was, what else has he lied about?

Trolls are anonymous people whose faces we never see who exist purely online to get everyone's backs up. Just because you don't agree with Tomi (for the record, not saying I do either), doesn't make her a troll. There are liberal trolls as well, you know. Are they not allowed any respect either? If you think the only people who should be respected for free speech are those you agree with, then you don't support free speech at all. If anyone wants to disagree with her, they'd be better off using facts and acting adult and respectful as opposed to responding with childish insults. It only serves to make liberals look intolerant, childish and rude. That's one of the major reasons why so many liberals are switching sides, because they can't deal with what liberals have become. Five and a half lines is a long answer? Reminds me of the kids who never tried hard at school who thought I was weird for writing more than a one word answer to a question. How exactly was I supposed to answer sufficiently if I restricted myself? Doesn't matter if it wasn't meant for me either, I thought I could add a good point to it. Don't be so sure. To most people, they view illegal immigrants as all the same. It's all the same crime, it doesn't matter what colour skin the person has. And no need to get all sassy on me. Not at age seven, he was 13 when he arrived. When he became an adult, he should have contacted the appropriate authorities to take into account his new situation. Whether he has children born in the US or not doesn't matter. All that matters is the person who's there illegally. It also doesn't matter how rich you are or how much you pay into the economy. No one should be above the law just because they're a rich celebrity. I'm pretty sure any other administration would have reacted the same, or at least should have. May I add that, watching interviews with the guy, I am blown away by what a fake he is. He pretends to have a full-on Southern accent and he's even dropping black American turns of phrase like "wit it," "thang" and saying "they" instead of "their." Fair enough if that's a persona that he wants to use when he raps but doing it while talking is a different matter. He's clearly been trying to pretend to everyone around him that he was born in the US and came from the Atlanta streets. I thought the rap game was all about being real. I thought they'd drag him for this. And who else has he lied to? Probably the mothers of his children. I'd be willing to bet even they don't know their own father's backstory, which is very sad. I'd be furious if someone in my inner circle lied to me like this. I don't see why no one's bringing this up. There has been a great deal of misreporting in the case of She’yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, known professionally as 21 Savage. Conjecture and misinformation help no one make good decisions and leads to false conclusions. Here are the facts: Mr. Abraham-Joseph was born in the United Kingdom. Mr. Abraham-Joseph arrived legally in the United states at the age of 7 under an H-4 visa. He remained in the United States until June 2005, when he departed for approximately one month to visit the United Kingdom. He returned to the United States under a valid H-4 visa on July 22, 2005. Mr. Abraham-Joseph has been continuously physically present in the United States for almost 20 years, except for a brief visit abroad. Unfortunately, in 2006 Mr. Abraham-Joseph lost his legal status through no fault of his own. Mr. Abraham-Joseph, like almost two million of his immigrant child peers, was left without immigration status as a young child with no way to fix his immigration status. These “Dreamers” come from all walks of life and every ethnicity. Mr. Abraham-Joseph has no criminal convictions or charges under state or federal law and is free to seek relief from removal in immigration court. ICE provided incorrect information to the press when it claimed he had a criminal conviction. Mr. Abraham-Joseph has three US Citizen children, a lawful permanent resident mother and four siblings that are either US Citizens or lawful permanent residents. He has exceptionally strong ties in the United States, having lived here since he was in the first grade. Because of his length of residence in the United States and his immediate relatives, Mr. Abraham-Joseph is eligible to seek Cancellation of Removal from an Immigration Judge. Mr. Abraham-Joseph was placed into deportation proceedings AFTER his arrest, he was not in deportation proceedings prior to this detention by ICE. DHS has known his address since the filing of a U visa application in 2017. He has never hidden from DHS or any of its agencies. Mr. Abraham-Joseph is not subject to mandatory detention under federal law and is eligible for bond. By statute, bond should be granted by ICE when there is no flight risk or a danger to the community. ICE has the ability to set a bond and conditions of release on cases exactly like this. ICE routinely grants bond to individuals in Mr. Abraham-Joseph’s circumstances, specifically individuals who have overstayed a prior valid visa and have relief from deportation under federal law. There is no chance that Mr. Abraham-Joseph is a flight risk. Mr. Abraham-Joseph is not a “danger” to the community as his acts of philanthropy and good will, as well as his music, continue to improve the communities from which he comes. Mr. Abraham-Joseph has a pending U visa application with the USCIS. This U visa was filed as a result of being the victim of a deadly shooting in 2013. That visa was filed in 2017 and remains pending. When granted, the U visa will afford him lawful status in the United States. Generally, ICE has recognized a pending facially valid U visa as a basis to delay removal proceedings and release individuals from custody. There continues to be no legal reason to detain Mr. Abraham-Joseph for a civil law violation that occurred when he was a minor, especially when people in his exact situation are routinely released by ICE. He even has a song called Letter 2 My Momma. A word for mother is one of the first words a child ever says, so growing up in Britain up until the age of 7 at the earliest, would have moulded what word he used. No British child has ever called their mother "momma." The terms we have here are "mum", "mummy/mammy" and "ma" are the only ones we say here. "Mama" is the closest to momma but that term is pretty much a fictional term that no real Brit actually uses. So, it's pretty obvious that he exaggerates for his American audience and it doesn't come naturally.

It’s a way to get your record erased from public view, mostly used for one time, non-violent crimes after a certain amount of time has passed with no other crimes. It especially helps people when they apply for jobs or apartment rentals, etc. His parents got him into this. He was brought here as a child.
