I Can't wait to read the ignorant replies some GGD members make trying to justify his behavior and once again turn a blind eye against discrimination and racism because it does not affect them due to it not being a "white" LGBT problem. :madge:

Read the article darling. He asked for the person’s skin color. He’s a racist. Just because you want to feel oppressed doesn’t change that.

OMG THIS

This is very concerning, like school shooter disturbed. One kid bullied me so I’m going to shoot the whole school. A POC raped my friend so I’m going to kill any of them that get close to me.

You just know Ellen is about to invite him on her show and forgive him and give him her blessing saying “I’ve known this guy since the 1800’s and he hasn’t got a racist bone in his body!” :interestinga:

Why would u say that in a press conference in 2019?

The level of stupidity is beyond me right now.

Keep it to yourself why would u say that when ur a hollywood actor

+ it's something so personal and he brings it up randomly like that when he has a movie to promote. I can't :ladyhaha:

Okay he said he’s not feeling like that anymore BUT why the hell would you blame whole race because some sick individual did something bad to someone you are close to? What if it was committed by white person? Would you hate your race and would you still want to kill innocent white individuals? I try but I can’t understand this. Also why did he feel the need to share this? I.... Some things need to stay unsaid because even if we don’t feel that way anymore it’s something that we once felt and what he felt was disgusting and awful.

I just read through this entire thread, and certain members really need to check their facts and **** cause my god some of y’all come off as racist.

Its been said, but unless it’s an LGBT problem (and a white one at that) then some members here will go to the ends of the earth to defend injustices. :saladga:

I'm white and let's say I was defending Liam. I know I would be in no position to say that people should forgive him when the issue at hand in no way directly affects me or something I have experienced. That would be something I keep to myself. I think people got to realise that white people can't speak against issues that affect POC, you can listen, acknowledge the issues and be an ally but you can't act like you know what's best.

Isn't it good that he admitted that? Obviously he was a f**cked up racist asshole, but he had no reason to admit to this. He is only bringing controversy on himself by doing so. I'm NOT saying the hate he will get isn't deserved, but he clearly knows now that he was wrong. It makes me think that maybe racist people that look up to him will read this, and hopefully have second thoughts about their intolerant beliefs. He had nothing to gain by talking about this, but he could maybe help the cause by showing others an example that people can change.
