They were great with their album Songs About Jane which I think was their debut. But then they changed their sound completely and the music has rapidly declined ever since.

I really wonder how this will affect their career

Their discography is not doing well on iTunes compared to others who have performed.

I don’t think this will do any harm to their career.. Male artists can get away with everything.. they can do whatever they want and someone will see be there to make them no1...

the ironic part is that a SuperBowl performance is supposed to help your career and bring some positive press :ladyhaha:

I had a hunch that doing the gig would jinx their career. They were at a tipping point for a backlash because of their over-reliance on quick little hits for a few albums on. It was cute for Overexposed and V but then they completely lost it with their last album. They don't have the integrity to cling to anymore if a flop project happens.

LMAO it took a Superbowl to open people's eyes about this band's truths.

The only good one was songs about Jane anyway.

Also their frontman is infamous jerk in the business, so that is recipe for disaster.

Yes you are. Even the professional reviews are hating it and calling it flavorless, boring, and that don't often happened :lmao:
