Every chart is "made up" in its own way. No methodology is perfect. So there's no point really calling one fake when it does hold all songs to the same standard even if the standard is flawed. 

It may not measure objective success but it measures something. And clearly Shallow is doing better at that something than so many others.

Well, in all fairness, iTunes is irrelevant nowadays, but its stability on Spotify WW is indeed impressive.

What blows me away is that normally Super Bowl performers get a huuuuuge boost on iTunes and everything else almost immediately after the show and Maroon 5 sucked so bad, they’ve barely crashed through the surface. And Shallow is still there at #1 😭😭😭😍😍😍
