But in most European countries like Germany, France and Italy there aren't actually that big "socialist/leftist" parties in power. Most of the times they have administrations by conservative parties yet the left is in the wrong?

The thing is many european people don't want to stop people from certain countries with strong homophobia issues to come here because they know that many people of these countries don't hate on gays. Meanwhile the risk of homophobia remains bigger with immigration from these countries than from other countries. I love the idea that people can come to get a better life in my country but, at the same time, there are many people also coming here to get a better life and who come from countries where homophobia is not really bigger than here... Large part of them don't get a chance to come here since a relatively small part of people wanting to come here are accepted. I rather like us to welcome all these folks who also want better chances and are from countries who don't represent an additional risk for locals LGBTs. Even if we were ONLY welcoming these folks we would still be refusing papers to many of them so...
Blond 5,715
I hate how people in here think that the left is the only way and all the others who don't vote for them(left parties) are stupid, bigots, xenophobic. Hey, there's a thing called democracy, people We shouldn't insult people because they vote! Also, people dragging capitalism have clearly no idea what benefits and privileges they all have compared to other people who live horribly in countries that don't embrace capitalism. So privileged and arrogant, some actually make me wanna puke in here There's too much hypocrisy in this thread. Can y'all think about what you're saying and then type it out, ty @Haroon @Admin Please check out this thread, so many rude and harmful words being thrown around. TIP: Before you come to drag or shade me, read again and don't put things in my mouth. My pu$$y tastes like pepsi cola

I understand why you reacted this way, but you can't justify hate speech, ever. Instead, you could teach them why you think they're wrong and maybe enlighten them, educate them. So What? This is part of free speech. A person can be a huge bigoted racist and I can call him out for that. I can list pages upon pages of proof that Trump, his party and their lookalikes want to demolish LGBTQ rights and their only answer is: "You can't take us our opinion!" I didn't want to take you your opinion. I EDUCATED YOU ON YOUR FALSE BELIEFS! If your actions harm others and undermine our liberal democracy at the same time, I have the right and the obligation to call you out for that. This is why centrism doesn't work. If one person wants to kill another person because they don't fit into their worldview, be it sexuality religion or ethnicity, centrists demand that the person that should be killed has to understand the point of the person that wants them dead. This is lunacy!

That’s why leftism is going back all over Europe and the world. This “better than you” narrative is really not appealing to get people to vote for you. 13 minutes ago, corvus albus said: This is why centrism doesn't work Every system has its flaws, but countries with a Centre government such as Germany are doing fine. Didymus 34,380
My partner votes for far right parties so I'm well aware We've had many discussions/fights about it but I try to respect his opinion. I can't help but notice though that there's very little logic holding his story together. And that seems to be exactly the way far right parties work these days: they call on their supporters to stop thinking and just express "common sense", what they feel is right rather than what they know is right. It's a very different mental framework, and it scares me tbh The world they live in is full of conspiracy, threats, danger and self-aggrandizement. It's everything I stand against, basically. But to get back on-topic, what is definitely most disappointing is that these gay supporters don't even understand that the parties they're voting for now are milking the **** out of them for their anti-Islam campaigns. Just a decade ago they were still saying homosexuality was unnatural, that gays couldn't marry or raise children. And the responses you get are just embarrassing "ok so maybe they were wrong in the past but they're right now!" and some other bs like that. Poor things don't realize it's because of leftist success that they're not treated just like the Muslims they now want thrown out of the country

Muslims are taking over Europe and gays are fighting back. yeaaah, like I left France 2 years ago and I visit France and Italy for more than a month a year now, I know what's going on. I'm pretty much know those kind of gays and I know how much they contributed to the community, almost 0.. And please, homophobia didn't show up with the immigrants, which exist, I'm not denying, but it's not so big like right-wing supporters wants to show.. you're more likely to be beaten by a 100% pure blooded French than an immigrant. You still don't see gays scared holding hands on the streets, you see them burning the streets with the fierceness lol So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy
