With the massive success of Shallow, that gives the 2nd single a better shot at being played on top 40 radio. Especially to those radio programmers that ignored it and now regret it. Sending ARUTW to radop with a mediabase add banner... "Always Remember Us This way, the follow-up single to the 2-time Grammy winning and Oscar winning world wide smash hit. Impacting..." That narrative alone could really help the song explode on pop radio. Especially with all of the award buzz going on. Yeah, there's a low chance for this, but record labels do it all the time. Maybe interscope wanted to see how the movie/music did at the Oscars before making any final decisions about there being a 2nd single or not. There's hope.
