Carrie is still the most played woman on country radio. For sure. But her last few singles(including her lead for Cry Pretty) didn't even hit #1 on radio, which is different than Hot Country #1s on Billboard(much harder to get). Also, Carrie hasn't been doing consistently well on the charts since the beginning of the Blown Away era. That's when Billboard made the changes to the calculations of songs on the charts. Since then she's had a couple #1s and some 2s. The rest still being in the top 10. And that's great, but everyone knows that there's a huge lack in support for women on country radio. Her latest single has been stalling for months now. Country music has A LOT of problems that most people won't address at award shows/etc. I wish someone, maybe even Kacey, would bring up these issues up at the ACMs. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
