Guaranteed success I don't want that because she's Lady Gaga. We had now multiple albums and ASIB that portrayed her as down to earth girl of the people. I want the larger-than-life Gaga. This isn't meant to be a criticism of the song, which is not only one of my favorites but also one of Gagas objectively best songs. The song pandered to older audiences and it smashed the older audiences into pieces. Without TEOG BTW-era would've ended more abruptly and tragic than we could imagine.
