It’s Friday, so it means the Top40 of the Netherlands gets released. ARUTW debuted last week at #39. This week it’s the biggest increased song with +17, which means it’s #22 this week. That’s really impressive.

Shallow was #8 last week. It’s not know yet where it ends this week, since they are still announcing.

Shallow is still #8 this week.

I did NOT expect this slayage in our home country. I don't think it will get a new peak, but I never expected it to enter top 10 anymore as well

SAME. I’m so happy tho. Like this is literally a peak in her career for her in the Netherlands.

Since this is the CHARTS discussion (as they (annoyingly) keep mentioning), what do we think Thank U, Next will debut with? I'd say at most 600k but it doesn't deserve more 100k:madge:

don't even talk about other songs that aren't Gaga's songs

apparently according to @CyanLights it's not allowed now.

honestly im glad a female artist is dominating but i wish it was with a better album. to me it sounds like the same song packaged in 13 different arrangements sorry not sorry.

she's not going to sell a lot, but she's a streaming monster and with the radio push and dropping videos anywhere bw 400k-600k is a good guess.

she could've easily had 1M+ with a tour/ merch bundle tho

So, yesterday Billboard released their annual Billboard's 2019 Power 100 List.

No.58 on the list are the principals of the law firm representing Lady Gaga.

Long story short - the deal for a new album is done/negotiated.

"...In 2018, [ ] worked closely with Lady Gaga -- shepherding deals for A Star Is Born, the Academy Award-nominated star's Las Vegas residency and her upcoming new album...".

In addition, Bobby Campbell is on the list New Power Generation: 25 Top Innovators

BOBBY CAMPBELL, 33

The Gaga whisperer: “The success of A Star Is Born was presenting [Lady Gaga] as an actress without looking like she was making a strategic pivot,” says Mermaid Music Management’s Campbell, who first met the singer in 2007 at Interscope Records, where he was a marketing coordinator. Campbell became Gaga’s manager after she split with Troy Carter in 2013, later inking a deal to join Artist Nation. For A Star Is Born, he brokered a postproduction deal that brought on Live Nation Productions and Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino (No. 2 on Billboard's Power 100 2019) as producers in exchange for help marketing the film (and a $10 million check from the live events giant). The partnership was a master stroke: The film led to two Academy Award nominations and, for lead soundtrack single “Shallow,” four Grammy nods. Meanwhile, the pop icon is in the midst of a double residency at Park MGM in Las Vegas. “We turn the venue around in 24 hours from Enigma to her Jazz & Piano show,” says Campbell. “It’s a constant creative zigzag, but there’s a range in her talent she isn’t afraid to explore.”

Streaming emergency!!!

We were already freaking out about ARUTW being added to Apple Music France "Tomorrow's hits" at #2.

Guess what? ARUTW has just been added to Apple Music France's "Today's Top Hits" at #1 :nooo::nooo:

(it's the biggest playlist on the platform)

is Apple Music popular in France? we know that it has more paid subscribers in canada usa and Japan than paid Spotify, but what about the country of baguettes ?
