That’s what I was thinking, something in the vein of what you described or “Make Me Feel” by Janelle Monáe. And yes, something like frozen would be fantastic. A display of complete and finalized arrogance that says: "I'm the coolest person in the room and you have to f*cking worship every single move I make". Ray Of Light comes later in a good career, right now she needs to capitalize on ASIB and the success and acclaim that it brought to her. No humble brag a la Mellion Raisans but full on arrogance and personality. People usually like this and it's an often used and rarely failed tactic. On the other hand: Gaga should go full on sympathetic Popstar for the people. Something in the vein of She Works Hard For The Money by Donna Summers which brought her a new repeak. But not too tryhard. What Gaga shouldn't do: Go full experimental is completely stupid because she will alienate her new loyal older fanbase and trade them for a very shallow shortsighted younger audience which will abandon her when she doesn't have hits anymore (Katy Perry, Taylor Swift) Make a Break-up album. We all heard Perfect Illusion and this just wasn't it. I imagine nothing else from an album that is themed around her Break-up with men. Make a half-assed attempt of pop and experimental music. Swift The two were examples on how building your fans around younger audiences may benefit you in the short term but is actually hurtful when you stop having huge hits. Katy career dwindled so much after one flopped album that she can't even debut inside the top 40 anymore with a huge comeback single and a big name producer. Look at Taylors single stats of Reputation. LWYMMD was frontloaded as hell and every subsquent single did worse and worse besides the damage control single Delicate which smashed on AC and HAC radio. Because a few more smash albums would cement her status as a legend because right now her status is still a bit shaky. This is what I meant with going the Vogue-route. It's an often and successfully used method of turning stars into icons and legends. These songs are always pompous, classy and arrogant as hell which made them so beloved. Pure pop songs that demand you to listen to them. Spoiler I just realized that I should've probably used SexyBack instead of Suit & Tie because that song sounds more like a coronation anthem.
