Phoebe Buffay 12,525
#04 Rain Average: 9,063Stans: NNES, GaGaLB, The Bling, ssslyboy - 11Haters: Hexxx - 5Commentary: shoful - A very warm and cute tongue in cheek song probably talking about a male orgasm and the cum pouring down like rain. A great ballad that continues the sexual theme of the album. GagaInTheZone - Almost flawless. Beautiful lyrics, soft vocals, warm instrumental, but the end of the song feels to long and repetitive. That J - Thank God for Rain, the little single that could...and did. Rain took a little time getting play but once it did, it was played alot for a long time. Perhaps this is the general public's fave from this album and that's fair enough. A beautiful ballad that has earned a spot on the new tour. The Louvre - Rain feels kind of out of place in Erotica, but doesn't at the same time. It's beautiful but also on the verge of melodrama. Relistening today, it sound kinda dated and not as fresh as the rest o the album. corvus albus - Perfectly fine. Nothing stands out that much that i have to comment on it much swakby - One of the highlights of Madonna in terms of where her creativity can push her music (and not image). Davian - It’s so soothing And I was SHOOK when I heard the build up synth halfway

Phoebe Buffay 12,525
#03 Deeper and Deeper Average: 9,166Stans: Davian, Musicisfreedom - 11Haters: Hexxx - 7Commentary: shoful - The first of very few warm and dance inspired songs. This song is about not being able to stop yourself from falling deep in love. Madonna referencing her parents and their advice towards choosing love. Perfect song to break up the album after 3 very cold and insensitive songs that preceded it. Its truly an ice breaker of a song and will make you want to get up and dance and confess your love in the process. With the sample of Vogue incorporated this is a true dance masterpiece about loving the feeling of love. GagaInTheZone - What a bop! Serving vocals, serving disco, and the flamenco guitar in the bridge is genius. That J - While this has never been an absolute favorite of mine, there is no denying Deeper and Deeper helped this album immensely as its second single. The video remains a classic and this track is 5 minutes of nonstop beat with confessional lyrics. Confessions before Confessions. The Louvre - Madonna loves referencing her own songs, and while Deeper and Deeper doesn't match up with Vogue, it's still a banger. Vocally not the album's finest track to me. corvus albus - A bit too underwritten to get higher but i love the house inspired music swakby - I find the song very cinematic, dramatic and driving. Hexxx - 90s club banger. Davian - Perfection from beginning to end. I love the spanish influence
