Elizabeth Warren apologizes for DNA test

Took her long enough.

I’m shocked she even released her results to “prove” her Native American ancestry considering the DNA results. If I was her (or someone on her campaign) and I saw those results, I wouldn't have released them.

Wasn't that 10+ years ago? Since then she's consistently been pro-lgbt that I know of. I've never properly researched her though since I know she won't be my candidate in this race

I'm pulling for Warren first and foremost and Harris second.

Also, BTW, the claims aren't false. I know you didn't see this because your head is lodged up Trump's ass, but what the DNA test actually said is that she DID have Native American DNA. Now, I understand some tribes got upset about that, because it's not the way they determine tribal membership... whatever; she never claimed membership in a tribe. What she DID do, though (and I'd concede, she probably shouldn't have) was to take the challenge Trump posed, on Trump's own terms, and passed -- and then of course he, as is his habit, refused to pay the wager he'd offered, and tried to dismiss her proof, and turn it against her. Predictable, but crass as ever.

To me, her baggage seems the easiest to explain away, because the explanation-- that she was a prosecutor, required to enforce laws she didn't necessarily agree with--fits in with the current interest in a restoration of basic law and order principles, principles of standard process... However flawed that explanation may be, it will convince enough people without offending more (like Warren's DNA test, for example), that I think it will work.

Yeah there are many things she can pass with this argument indeed! But there are also some moves that seem to be up to her choices as an AT at the time and IMO people will still blame her for not always choosing others fair options that she had on the table at the time.

Didn't she start explaining some blurry parts of her AT past by saying that members of her office took decisions she didn't like (or without consulting her) at her recent Town Hall?

Maybe I'm mixing things lol so I should watch it again but it seemed more like defense points than real justifications. I'm waiting to see more of her of course since it's early to make a definitive view but she supported some progressive ideas a bit late ( once it was  really popular ) for me to not doubt her sincerity lmao!
