As long as people keep buying the crap that takes her 15 minutes to write, why not keep selling it?

Imagine if Gaga released EVERYTHING she wrote in 2009-2012, even the demos that kinda sucked. We would LIVE for it, would we not?

I don't see why this is something to complain about, just be happy for her fans that are getting a fortune of material from their fave.

Yes. It should be obvious from miles away that while her short term success is good, it's going to ruin her longevity in the industry.

It will probably get tired after a while, kinda like the surprise drop Beyonce and Jay have been doing. See Everything is Love.

omggg already the album AFTER Thank you, next? I'm shaking lol

it's really not that crazy tbh.. when people say they spent "years" working on an album, i'm like ok girl is that 2 hours a day for years? months of break between working on it? bc if you're in the studio 9-5 mon-fri like a regular job, albums could be completed in weeks.

It's working for her, so why should she stop? The GP (aka the one that matters, not forum/twitter stans) loves what she's doing currently, so if she wants success she should go for it.

Ariana should release whatever she wants 'cause it's her work and music and not ours. That doesn't mean I'm gonna enjoy and listen to everything she puts out tho and that's ok.

Maybe for some artists. But art usually takes a while to make because it depends on inspiration. Plus i think the reason albums take so long is a lot of songs are created then they take the best of the bunch.

Yeah for something like LEMONADE or a with a bigger artistic vision then I definitely understand the time going into it, also if they're already busy with other projects, just saying that is very reasonable to create 10-15 songs in only a few months if you're just creating fun/good music to listen to.

Yeah that's probably fair to say :) also Born This Way was written very quickly. So i imagine if Ariana is very inspired she could write a lot quite fast.

No, why? It's great. She's getting these #1s instead of waiting 3-5 years to release a bomb. It's a basic economic principle - as long as there is demand, there should be supply. On top of that, it's not like Ariana invented anything new - Britney would release an album every year. Gaga released three albums almost in a row - TF, TFM, BTW. You have to ride the wave until you can. See what happened to Katy. I am pretty sure KP4 would do much better if she released the album in 2014 instead of 2017:air:

I voted yes because dropping album after album in any case shows a severe drop in quality. We’re already seeing lazy writing with her latest single “7 Rings,” which is just a Frankenstein of “My Favorite Things” and “Pretty Boy Swag.” If she doesn’t slow down she will very quickly lose credibility as a serious artist and turn into a capitalist machine.

Yes, but we wouldn’t have received Witness in 2014, we would have received a compilation of forgettable tracks. I care about the quality of a record, and when Katy released Witness, that was the first time I liked an album of hers. It actually sounds like she cared about the music rather than the sales.

And you bring up Born This Way, which is notorious in the fanbase for being full of fillers. It’s not about “supplying product,” it’s about the music.
