nakedidea 745 Posted January 29, 2019 Share Posted January 29, 2019 Ally's character is truly enjoyable. She's likeable, vulnerable, beautiful, talented, and gives us a few glimpses to her emotions. However, I can't think of a scene where Ally explodes in EMOTIONS. I obviously have no clue about film-making, but I would have included an emotional scene at the end when she's looking outside her window and her friend is visiting her. She could have burst into tears or anger, given us some her thoughts/feelings, made us relate to her pain/emotions. Or more substance in her emotions when Jackson falls again or rehab center/idk. ... 1 Emotional scene would have increased her chances and 2 scenes would have secured the Oscar for Best Actress.
