You have to show me the actual article... and no, It is not 33% of the US population that deny the holicaust.

I just googled it and it’s from Newsweek from April 2018 and for some reason it showed up in my twitter feed a couple days ago. I can’t copy and embed it as i am on mobile.

I didn’t click on it but it was definitely one of those sample based articles, where 1 in 3 is implied.

Yeah, your analysis is taken out of context of the article. It’s not necessarily saying that 1 in 3 are denying the holocaust but rather Americans don’t understand the scale of the death toll.

Please, when seeing these articles online, read and understand them. Too many times I see people interpret the headline based on their agenda and we don’t need that in this day and age.

“Despite the worrying figures, 93 percent of those asked think the Holocaust should be taught in schools, while 96 percent believe that the genocide happened.”

It's so sad that people think it's fake, when you know there are survivors who went through this. Even sadder bc my grandma is a survivor.

She is winning again…. somehow she always stays here. I can’t stand it.

Denying the holocaust is punishable in Germany :messga: . They just have to visit the museums in Auschwitz or Buchenwald and then they'll know what's a myth and what's not :madge:

This is what happens when you listen to everything you're told and don't seek information on your own. Just go about your days without challenging your beliefs and being content with what you assume to be true.

But it’s a small majority of people who believe this... I don’t see how this is believing everything you see....

You would think that in the age of the internet, people would be more intelligent than ever, but willful ignorance has become so prevalent in western society that it's appalling. I remember seeing an argument between a couple of people on Facebook where one person posted sources that discredit the other person's claims, and that person just replied, "Well, it's my opinion, and I'm entitled to it." Bitch, your opinion is based on lies and false information.  :saladga: It's just absurd.
