Zander 14,817 Posted January 27, 2019 Share Posted January 27, 2019 We should just all enjoy the amount of nominations and award ceremonies she’s had for this movie. I know it’s dissapointing as we all felt ASIB deserved more awards (especially Bradley) and It’s not just the fan base that thinks that. Winning awards doesn’t determined if a movie is successful or not, it’s more for the validation. Marvel movies consistently have received critical acclaim, grossed huge amounts worldwide but are barely if nominated at all during award season but the films are still considered successful. I’ve read that ASIB has some similarities with Marvels films in that it has been considered too popular for it to pick up any major awards. Even if she doesn’t win anything else nobody can say that this film hasn’t been a successful or she isn’t a good actress. The accolades say otherwise.
